We Actually do Work at NST

I've noticed that all of my posts on NST have been about the fun we have, so I thought perhaps I should share what Kevin does when he is technically working.

First of all, he teaches...

a lot...

21 classes in 4 weeks to be exact.

His teaching is the reason I haven't been blogging so much lately. You see, we own a Mac. Macs are great for things like powerpoint presentations. Kevin does a lot of powerpoint presentations, so he steals our Mac. All of my pictures are on said Mac, therefore, I haven't been blogging lately.

When he is not teaching he is emceeing. He has introduced some really cool people this summer like Jeff Cavins, Edward Sri, Curtis Martin, Peter Herbeck, and Jonathan Reyes to name a few. Basically he makes sure everything runs smoothly all day.

We are also the Deans of the married men's and married women's colleges. This means that I gather with all of the wives once a week and Kevin gathers with all of the husbands once a week for character formation studies. We also eat dinner together twice a week, have recreation once a week and hang out as much as possible in between.

Some of our married staff all dressed up for the etiquette dinner. They let me help teach that one.

In the midst of it all he keeps in contact with FOCUS headquarters about on going projects that he is involved in, works on continually maintaining and building up our MPD (Mission Partner Development, FOCUS missionaries get paid by the generosity of people who financially give to their work) and still manages to be a great dad and husband.

He's like superman, really. My kids are convinced of it and so am I.
